Like The House, Not So Much the Dubstep

I was enjoying your experimentation in the house, very bumpin and catchy. I'd definitely get down to that if I was old enough to go to clubs. Your transition into dubstep was quite cool, with the whole vocal sample. Unfortunately, I'm not a huge fan of "yeah" basses so it kinda lost me there. The transition back into the house was great. I loved the energy there. Awesome work.

Dj-UnKnOwN responds:

thanks taxa for the review! Yeah dubstep is kind of the thing where either ya like it, or ya don't and i hope that part didnt ruin the song for you =[!

Ya I was mainly experimenting with the house so im really glad you liked that.

Thanks for the review!

A Classic Theme.

I just listened to Doctor P's Tetris. It's kind of unfortunate that his version will overshadow a lot of others... BUT ANYWAYS. Cool stuff, your mid-ranged wobble may have been a little too fast for me, but that's my personal preference. That's a pretty cool lead synth you had there, lots of reverb. Good job.

Feel free to review my tracks too, I'd appreciate it!

MSXOmega responds:

Doctor P is just godly. Thanks for the review!

Groovy drums

I'd have to say my favourite part of this was the groovy drums you had. Cool stuff. Feel free to review my stuff too :)

MindprowlerMusic responds:

Thanks for the feedback, I'll be sure to check out your stuff too.

Hit me harder than a spicy spicy!

The beginning was awesome because it seemed like a mix between Noisia's Alpha Centauri and some epic movie soundtrack. Great job.

TIMarbury responds:

thanks a lot dude :). The piano is pretty much like that

Damn!

Firstly, that is a really cool opening. It really set the tone and your bass fit nicely in. Nice drums as well. Overall a very cool tune, well put together.

TIMarbury responds:

Thanks a lot dude. Glad you liked it! :)

Nice!

I'm not one for trance, but when the unce came in I couldn't help but get my groove on. Good job.

KorpzeAudio responds:

Thank you!

Cool stuff bro

Your build up was pretty cool with the vocal sample. The drop, itself, hit me in the face, which was pretty cool. The wobble seemed a little too distorted for my liking, but the timing was nice, in combination with the drums. Adding that vocal sample was a nice touch as well. My advice for the 1:56 area would be to keep that beat in for a break section. This would keep your audience moving rather than letting them loosen up. Overall a good job, just a couple tweaks here and there and I would be skankin all night long.

tomashcu responds:

Haha thanks bro! very much appreciate the feedback!

yeah its only my first ever completed dubstep song.. haha all my other shit is just random 5 second bass loops LOL my next song will deffs be better :)!

Cool stuff

I'm really liking the fullness of the intro. The transition is a little too sudden but you used some cool transition effects. I really like 1:01 because that fullness is there with the bass. This sounds really cool because it's always really cool to see new approaches to dubstep, and that's exactly what you brought to the table. Great job!

KroweMusic responds:

Glad you liked it :)

I'll agree with the first transition being too sudden. However, this was my first attempt at dubstep so it's not really a big deal to me now.

Thanks for leaving a review :)

Oh shit

I'm really like the intro and the first section. They both grabbed my attention and blew me away. That flute is badass especially when it contrasts the bass. Really tight drums. This should become a full track, definitely expand on this. Awesome.

janiev responds:

Thanks for the review! Maybe some day I will expand the song. :)
